War Child Peace of Business

A small part of business success can make a meaningful difference. Because building peace is everyone's business.

In May, we reflect on what it means to live in peace. This month stands for commemoration and freedom. But while we fly the flag for that freedom here, a record number of children worldwide are growing up in conflict zones, more than 520 million children. An alarming high number. For them, freedom is a daily absence. Taking this reality as a starting point, War Child launched an initiative: Peace of Business. It enables companies to dedicate a small part of their business to children growing up in war zones.

Through Peace of Business, companies harness a portion of their commercial strength to deliver a direct and tangible impact. The support directly contributes to the protection, care, and recovery of children in war zones. In doing so, businesses actively choose to make an impact.
